Head of Information Security/Rukovodilac bezbednosti informacija

We are looking for an experienced Head of Information Security to lead and develop our information security function. The role will focus on defining security strategy, strengthening governance, and ensuring security is embedded across systems and processes. What you'll do?

• Define and lead the company’s Information Security strategy, ISMS, governance model, policies, and security standards.
• Build and mature security practices across infrastructure, applications, and operational environments, ensuring security is embedded by design.
• Own security risk management across the organization, including identification, assessment, prioritization, and mitigation of security risks.
• Oversee security architecture and posture across on-premise and cloud environments, including network security, access controls, and secure design principles.
• Lead incident response and CSIRT capabilities, including detection, containment, recovery, and coordination of security incidents and crises.
• Define and enforce Identity and Access Management (IAM) strategy, ensuring least-privilege access and proper access governance.
• Drive application security and secure development practices in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including GDPR, local data protection laws, and contractual/security requirements for enterprise and government projects.
• Act as a key security advisor to leadership, translating security risks into business impact and supporting decision-making at management level.
• Drive continuous improvement of overall security maturity and foster a strong security culture across the organization.

What we're looking for?

• 10+ years of experience in IT/Technology, including 5+ years in Information Security leadership roles.
• Strong expertise across core security domains: Network Security, IAM, Cryptography, Endpoint Protection, Infrastructure Security, and Cloud Security.
• Proven experience in building and operating ISMS, security governance frameworks, policies, and controls in complex IT environments.
• Experience working closely with Infrastructure, Engineering, and DevOps teams to embed security into architecture and operational processes.
• Hands-on security leader with the ability to drive execution while defining strategy and long-term security direction.
• Experience in incident response management and coordination of security incidents in high-availability environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate security risks into business impact.
• CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CCSP certifications are considered a strong advantage.
